New Favorite Wine!

Chateau Musar

It seems I have many favorite wines--Craggy Range Block 14 Syrah from New Zealand, Castel Pujol Tannat Reserva from Uruguay, and of course Michael Havens Merlot from Napa. I have stumbled upon yet another jem in my never-ending quest for unique and well-made wines: The 1995 Chateau Musar from Lebanon.

Last evening, I had an opportunity to taste this glorious wine with my friends Matt and Alejandra, who happens to be one of the managers from Jaleo. We went out for an evening of drinks and mezze at Zaytinya. 2 bottles later, the Chateau Musar is my new favorite! Lush and silky, this wine is one of the best vintages from the Chateau. I am now on a quest to add several bottles to my personal cellar.
